Meet Naomie Richards

Naomie’s passion for travel began when her mother started taking her to church conferences at a young age. Each year, the conference was held in a different destination and she enjoyed being able to see new places.

While she was in college, she decided that she wanted to work in the travel industry, so she started as a part-time administrative assistant at an online travel company. This heightened her love for travel even more.

For over 13 years, she held multiple jobs in the travel and hospitality industry. She was planning travel for business clients, friends and family and absolutely loved it! Her friends and family would ask her all the time, when are you going to start your own travel business? She would say maybe, but wasn’t sure she was ever going to really do it.

Due to the impact on the travel industry as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Naomie was laid off from her corporate job in travel in August 2020. Naomie saw an opportunity to reinvent herself and start a career in real estate and earned her NJ real estate license. As the world started to reopen its doors for travel, Naomie yearned to get back into the industry. She had a passion for travel that just wouldn’t go away! Naomie had a conversation with the real estate broker she was working with about her love for travel and the broker said to her “why don’t you start your own travel business”. She then decided this was the last time someone was going to say this to her without her finally taking action!

And this was how Enriched Travels first took off…
